Nice try, but doesn't have quite the same effect as LOLex.

OMGa is funnier, try it some time.

I have little experience with PP, but could it be the angle of the shot that prevents us from seeing the crown guards and also the moonphase (and stars)? Also, could it not be the reflection of the camera on the polished seconds hand making it look black? Also are the lug pins really that pronounced?

Hobbit has the point. Lug pins and crown guard might be hidden due to the shot angle.
But not so sure about the second hand though.

Maybe.

The polished tip of the date hand seems unaffected by the mad photography skills, though. *shrugs*

Month is legit. Check out the image info - it was taken in November last year.

I guess it's only fair to all parties that after an allegation has been made, and the allegedly offending articles shown to all, that the poster of the watch be allowed to present his case. I would now be very grateful if the said poster come forward and refute the allegation.

Guys, please watch-out your comments when you do not have any solid evident in commenting/proving it's fake...

i do agreed with Hobbit, it's just because the photo was took in the different angle..i can see the second hand is silver instead of black..

If the discussion continue to the wrong way (subject in this post is to share your daily write shot) i will have to lock/remove post and ban if we (all mods) feel it's not compliance to any of our MWF rules.

Cheers!

Nope, ........ its was probably indicating 17 Nov 2010, but, I dont have the benefit of the lunar calender to confirm if it was a "lunar 1st day"

EDIT: It was the lunar 22nd day, so should be able to see at least the HALF moonphase

This might help - http://www.ezpics.com/gh/PredictMoonPhase

Take care, ciao!

This one is definitely not fake ... and the right day to wear it   ;D  But just to join the Patek fun, I have not seen a black second hand on 5159G and it is black in the photo if you see the thicker/short end of the second hand.  Moreover, upon closer inspection, the lugs at the top and the bottom the protusion is not the same.

On the contrary, I am just an old fart whom have one too many watches and need a long PR watch to keep it alive while I am wearing others ;D

BTW, this is the Laureus Limited Edition so it is good that part of the money went to charity.
