RE-LUME WATCH
« on: January 14, 2021, 07:28:10 PM »
Hi members,

I just bought a Ball Hydrocarbon Engineer Mad Cow DM1036A SAJ BK and I have been loving every bit of it.

However I have just noticed that the lume is not glowing anymore and I totally understand that this is due to the long years of the watch.

Since I am quite new in the watch industries, I have a few queries regarding this matter.

 - Shall I send the watch to its Maker to get it re-lume? And I if do, how much would it normally cost and how long would it take since I have moved from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu.

 - Or is there some other option that I could get such as go to some local watch service shop. And if go for this option may I know where is the best shop for this service?

Thanks in advance.

Best,

MSA

There are not normal lume plots, it can't be relume by normal watchmaker.
Ball uses micro gas lube technology, if am not mistaken, they claimed it can last 25 years without charged.

The only way is bring it back to them.
