As reported by some youtubers and forum, Rolex is rumored / confirmed to increase their prices by 1st Oct. Anyone who is close with their AD would be able to confirm this?
-
Again? What a surprise....

Local AD already increased 3%-5% after implementation of SST, mostly 3%.
Accordingly, the increment is not the consequences of SST, but their supplier (ROLEX).
So the news is true, local AD might increase the price again during OCT due to SST, or not.
-
::) ... another one of these rumors .... history has already taught us nobody ever knows what and when Rolex would do anything ....
The ADs know squat about what Rolex would do. If they happen to be right this time, it's purely a coincidence.
-
Probably the increase is due to our currency weakening...
-
Always and only go up up up XD
-
To be honest.. even increase also none of our business.. can’t even get any chance to get any sport model from AD anyways.. stick to the premium will do

From what I read, only UK was mentioned. Let’s wait few more days to see if I definitely give up on the idea of buying a brand new Explorer II.

Cannot agree more. And if anyone speculates it long enough, it will eventually become true anyway lol

No further price increment after 3% increased on 5th of September ... Or i have missed something here?

What is confirmed that rolex UK has increased the prices. New "adjusted" price can be seen on the rolex UK site. Among the reason of the increase
1. UK is still the cheapest place to get a rolex (especially if you are a tourist)
2. Brexit

Now the question is since malaysia did had a price adjustment due to SST, will it follow the price adjustment that rolex UK did?
-
For us here in Malaysia, Rolex has price adjusted, up another 3%.
So 3% from SST and now another 3% price increase. I think this brings the price to slightly higher than GST prices, but only by a little bit.

Looking at your response, I reached out to check with another AD and its odd -- one AD told me price go up 3% and another AD told me no extra 3% since Sep 2018.

Same group? Asked several AD (THG) and all said increased 3%, their current retail price already reflected the 3% increment.
Unsure about SWG and Cortina though.

Yes it was up on 5th of September but not in October. At least for now
-
Yup. Got the same info from AD. 3% since Sep.

keep increase rolex price , can buy a AP already

Not surprised if Rolex increased its price for all their models here in Malaysia. Probably it is due to currency exchange (and SST). Even if there is going to be exemption of SST, the price of Rolex watches will still be increased. Just wonder, if the RM currency exchange is better, will the price decrease? Hopefully this happens, but not likely.
