An uncommon GP … Back in the late ’90s and early ’00s, Girard-Perregaux produced a line of watches with official Scuderia Ferrari branding. Unlike the most recent incarnations of Ferrari watches, these were subtle and very tasteful – so subtle that some of them do not even in fact carry any Ferrari branding anywhere on the watch. The 048 variant has a brushed titanium case, titanium back, titanium pushers, rubber strap with titanium buckle etched with prancing horse and series number on the caseback. Powered by GP calibre 2280 with 45 hours power reserve.
Case (9.5 / 10) – very good condition with minimal signs of wearing
No ding/dent/nick on case, bezel and crystal
GP’s rubber strap in mint condition (9.5 / 10) - close to zero signs of wearing
GP titanium buckle with prancing horse (9 / 10) - has few faint hairline scratches
Movement – GP calibre 2280 45 hours power reserve
Keeping excellent time and no issues with power reserve. Chronograph and date wheel
functioning perfect (minor service / relube carried out)
