Hi all sifu,

I'm kinda new into watch and i have a few questions that i wanna ask.

I have been looking into a few watches.

Christopher Ward (CW) C65 Worn and Wound Edition (RM 4.5~5k + tax) COSC
Longines Spirit 40mm (RM 7k+) COSC
Hamilton Khaki Titanium 40mm  (RM3k+)

This 3 watches have different price point.

I was wondering does magnetization important when i am buying a watch? Since there's a lot of my personal stuffs contains magnets .Only longines Spirit doesnt have this issue since it's using silicon while the other 2 could potentially have such an issue.

Would demagnetise the watch resolve such issue? If so why would omega promote its anti magnetic ?

Service cost is also something I have thought about... CW uses Sellita 200 which should be easily serviceable in Malaysia right since they have no service center in Malaysia while the other two have their own center. Hopefully all good sirs can enlighten me on the service part for CW.

Could anyone provide some insight regarding their CW watches please? I cant find much review or long usage feedback for this brand.

Any other feedback regarding to longines and hamilton brands would be appreciated too or if you have any particular models you wish to recommend me would appreciate too but as you can see the models i found are all within 38~40mm and thickness <12mm since my wrist is consider medium

I have read some "beginner guide to mechanical watch" but i still cant find some answers to my worries.

Thank you for all your time and have a good day.

As always stay safe.
 :D

Cheers,

Malaysian.

If you choose in-house movement, aim for CW double barrels in house movement.

2nd choice should go for Longines annual calendar.

I see.

I do like this model from their in house movement. However, there's a concern for inhouse movement for me is on the service. I'm not sure how much it costs to ship back and fort to CW service center. haha i could be a great deal if they have a service center in Malaysia.

As for the other model, I like it as a dress watch and i'm looking for something all around at the moment.

I still wish to know about the magnetization and demagnetization part if you have any ideas about it.

Thank you for your suggestions.
