Firstly, check the chapter ring must have "Rolex" wording engraved.

Then looking for Rolex Crown laser incripted logo at about 6 o'clock position.

The last I will check on the Rolex Explorer II Z series. The movement should be 3186.

Hope the above points help. Just happen I got the Z series Explorer II.

Only  some late z series comes with 3186 movements .
Ask seller to send u a photo between the lugs at 6  0clock n also at 12
The movements looks Gd if it's fr the actual watch.
If u receive the photo between the lugs , tally it with the serial nos on the card,
 It's better to do a F2F  deal.
The engrave serial nos between the lugs should be neatly done on a ori rolex
Regards.

From the photo u posted earlier,I noticed this watch comes without chapter ring.
So u need the photos between the lugs  to view  n tally the serial nos.
Happy hunting.

Also with a country code of 100 , this watch should have been sold from a Germany AD.

Pictures may always be real. What you get in the post may be something else. Beware of extremely good deals.

RSC in KL doesn't do authentication anymore, unless you opt in full service

So the authention is actually free.
If they reject it, means its a fake?

You need to pay for the authentication/quotation RM200+
They will refuse service if its a fake.

Hi there,

I suggest you to look for these details.

1) Look at the movement of 3186 that must be same as the movement of Rolex GMT-||.
2) Look if there is chapter ring.
3) Look at the serial number located at 6 o'clock of the case. It must be the same as the serial number written in the warranty card.
4) Try placing the watch on the table and notice its bracelet if its flexible. Stiff bracelet may indicate that its fake.

These are by far details I could thought of.

Hope this helps  :)

Please take note that not every rolex 16570 comes with 3186 movement .
Neither do all 16570 comes with chapter ring.

Hey guys, was looking through the search and this was the closest thread I found where I thought I could raise my concern.

No offence to anyone, please, apologies in advance if I do...but I can’t help but notice a recent Rolex Exp II 16570 sale in this forum that had a very suspicious looking date window/cyclops magnification (you may look for pictures there) . I’m not out to hang anyone out to dry, but perhaps even the seller may not have realised , who happened to recently join this forum. But I thought that since this is indeed a reputable watch forum, we should be discussing such technicalities and prevent any potential counterfeits from creeping in here.

What do you guys think? Let’s have an objective discussion, and again, I am not looking to accuse anyone, it could be purely out of ignorance, and I on the other hand could be wrong.

Cheers
