Was attracted to the Blackbird prototype......

out of topic but Fong's Limited (300 pcs) Spring Drive tuna has been haunting me since the event...

Sorry, most of my pics turned out quite bad. Not to mention my overall poor composition! But here's some quick ones anyway...

Album is on my FB here.

First off thanks to the B&R boutique for hosting MWF members and showing us the BASEL 2013 novelties before everyone else  ;D

The boutique staff was very professional and friendly bunch. Good casual gtg.

Hope the members had fun meeting other members and looking at the watches.

I was busy drooling over the watches and cause of the lens limitation below are my contribution to the pics.

As a recap the direction that B&R is heading for this year is as below:

1- Instrumentation - The 2 cockpit instruments, BRS, steel automatic.
2- Materials & complications 0 WW1 pink gold regulateur and the WW1 Argentium.
3- Tribute to aviation - Falcon, BR03 Golden Heritage and Blackbird flyback.

Mr Tong General Manajor of FJ Benjamin sharing with the members about the brand and its direction for this year.

I'm liking the black cased Blackbird Flyback and the mechanical pocket watch ....
now it all boils down how good the movements in both are...

Just to add to Peter's report below:

On behalf of Malaysia Watch Forum I would like to express our sincere appreciation to Mr. Tong Chee Wei (GM of FJ Benjamin Luxury Timepieces) and the Bell & Ross boutique team for their wonderful hospitality during the event.
I'm certain all the MWF members who attended the event had a great time previewing the Bell & Ross Basel 2013 Novelties.
