Date: Feb 25th Thurs
Time: 7pm
Location: Station-1 Cafe in Kuchai Lama, Old Klang Road.
Since Fri is public holiday thought of having a simple GTG, can have dinner and chit chat there.
So far it's me, Chris Yen and David.
Others feel free to join.

Been going to that place for more than 10yrs even before he moved to current location.
I think even just us is ok to go there? What say you?

Had a great dinner and nice to catch up with the guys after CNY.
Thanks to Chris for helping me have ur watchmaker service my watches. He did a good job on the case cleaning and finishing.

Chris, i need u advise on this...i encounter my MM have this kind of problem...the second hand stop before 40 hours after full wind...whn i re-adjust the minutes hand, the second hand start moving again...what make this happend? short of lubricant oil or ??? time for servicing ard??? this is just merely a year plus watch.. another Q is how to justify the movement is swiss made or asia made?

the price u pay for the watch will tell is swiss movement or made in china movement because the difference is great...
a china made watch only rm300+
a simple decorate swiss eta movement will cost u usd200, plus case n labor cost n profit... so price sure exceed rm1k...
when near to 40 hours, the force of the barrel is weak... so not enough to push the wheel... but when u shake it or move it around... it run for a while.... so no big issue..... the other reason could b the grease in barrel choked at that point....
no watchmaker will want to service a china made movement...
1. this will spoil the watchmaker name... where got watchmaker like ppl say he repair replica/fake/cheaply made watch?
2. get a movement or a new watch is more economical
