Rolex GMT Master II vs GS SBGE001

I was in Europe last week and saw a couple of Rolexes that I like (green saphire Milgaus and GMT Master II).  Both were selling at very attractive price due to currency exchange rate.  I even called Scott to get his advice.  I really like the GMT Master II with the blue GMT hand and ceramic bezel.  The credit card was ready and I even pre-alerted Citibank on the pending transaction!

But it didn't happen.  I decided to stick to my plan of getting the GS SBGE001.

Get the GS first, much rarer breed.

Eh ... why suddenly so many GS fans?  I thought there are many more Rolex, IWC and PAM fans here!   
However, I must say that I am gaining an appreciation on Rolexes especially the sports models - if I can get past the idea that Rolex produces 1 mil watches a year + x millions fakes
