For sale is my Glycine Airman SST06 Purist Pumpkin, ref. 3856. This watch is called "purist" because it is a true 24-hour watch, and it's called "pumpkin" because of the iconic orange internal rotating bezel. This watch is a re-issue of a watch that Glycine produced in the late 1960s, which apparently became very popular with both civilian and military pilots.
I bought this brand new from an overseas Glycine's AD in October 2010. This particular model has been discontinued by Glycine, and the Pumpkin version with the SS bracelet is particularly scarce.

Watch SpecsCase: Stainless Steel Case with dimension 44mm diameter without crown and 24mm lug width. Watch case and edges are sharp and crisp. Caseback with silhouette of its namesake, the Boeing Super Sonic Transport (SST). Caseback has no marks as the watch is straped on soft pillow when not worn. As the strap bar is held by screws, strap changing will inevitably cause some minor superficial scratches, but nothing deep than cannot be polish off.
Dial: The grey half of the dial represents the AM hours, and the black half represents the PM hours. The orange bezel can be used to track a second time zone.
Crown: The upper crown operates the inner bezel, which turns bi-directional, while the lower crown winds the movement and also for setting time/date.
Crystal: AR Sapphire Crystal with no scratches.
