After more than 10yrs owning this Airmaster, finally she needs the service.
Its problem is 10minutes slow per day.
Other than the overhaul service done, her hairspring replaced too.
But the problem still not gone.

When CMCO ends or the repair shop opens, it will be sent back to check and repair again.

This was the replaced hairspring.

10 minutes is a huge difference. I don’t even think the issue is just magnetized anymore.

Ya, I feel the same too. By the way, the worst is I just get the whole ETA 2824 replaced.

gears getting stuck? broken jewels? or just shoddy work?
we are all curious

I keep looking at it.
The watch seemed stuck and stopped at about 10.15 to 10.30 time.
I will send it to watchsmith on this coming Saturday.
-
Looking forward to find out the culprit !
Good luck bro.
Best Regards,

Rough assessment.
Certainly no magnetised.
Very likely the escapement or winding wheel bearing got problems.
The watchsmith was busy so could not repair it on the spot. Just left my watch there.

Pretty sure the picture is not the hairspring.
That is the mainspring. Mainspring stores energy and while it might affect timing if it doesn't release the stored torque correctly, but generally the problem is not there.
Timing is controlled by escapement, hairspring and all the bearings ( jewels ) in that area.
If it is consistently 10minutes off, probably it only needs an adjustment. If not, i would look at the hairspring and the jewels in the escapement area. If it stops at 10:30 PM, I would look at the date mechanism too. Got to also make sure the hour/min hands are not touching the crystal/dial or each other.
Waiting for update here.

Thanks shifu for pointing out my error.
Yes, it is mainspring. I mistook hairspring = mainspring.

Omg. The watchsmith called and he said that he merely oiled and changed my watch mainspring last time without totally dismantling all movement parts and washed them one by one.
His business is good and long queue for my watch. Estimate by 20 June, it could be ready to collect after he dismantles and washes the parts by parts. :Blue:

Finally got it back, so far 8.5 hours on my wrist . No sign of slowing down.
Now waiting for 10 o'clock to confirm the jammed hand problem has gone away or not.
-
Yeah, my Titoni accuracy is now back to normal.

Im glad to hear that everything is solved now and u finally get a peace of mind !
I guess this is all part of the fun !
