Dear all MWF members, let us all gather our thoughts and prayers for all the passengers and crew on board Flight MH370. Extend too our concern and support for the family members of the affected passengers and crew on board MH370. Lend too your support for the search and rescue crews working relentlessly out there locating Flight MH370. God bless.

This is a sad day for Malaysia, MAS and KLIA/DCA. Let's pray for the strength of relatives of the passengers and crew. Let the authorities carry out the SAR and investigations before making comments.

It is a truly sad day, and it is imperative too for the people to allow the investigations to be completed before making comments.

With so many rumours and speculations spreading around social media, let's all keep calm and hope the plane is found as soon as possible.

All the big boys and taikor coming over to our country with their state of the art military tools to assist in SAR. Warships, Navy Choppers, Submarines, Submersibles and air support.

Very sad to see how they are handling the SAR operations.

And the news media makes everything worse by making sensational news out of every announcement made. I guess they are more interested in getting website hits than actually providing responsible reporting.

Whatever happened to investigative journalism?

LATEST UPDATE:

At the special press conference at 10pm, 24-3-2014, at PWTC,

Malaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Razak has announced:
"With deep sadness and regret I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight #MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean."

With deep regret, I have been informed that MH370 ended in the Southern Indian Ocean. A press conference will be held tomorrow with further details.

At the earliest opportunity, we shared this info out of commitment to openness and respect to the families.

Malaysia Airlines have already spoken to the families of the passengers and crew to inform them of this development.

For them, the past few weeks have been heartbreaking. I know this news must be harder still. I urge the media to respect their privacy and allow them the space they need at this very difficult time.

Therefore, let us all pray for all those aboard MH370.

It's nice to see so many caring WIS.

The MH370 tragedy is a real eye opener. True, our minister, TUDM and air transport authorities are totally unprepared and clownish.

And to China......

The tragedy clearly reveals China's inability to step out and take the lead. For the best of 10 days after the incident the Chinese government was rather content waiting for information from Malaysia (a bit like a blind man relying on a blind dog), sulking when not getting good response, its people throwing water bottles at news briefing, giving inaccurate satellite pics, .......etc. C'mon, you China is potentially (or want to be) the big brother in this region; can't you guys take the initiative and send out all your ships and planes instantly after the tragedy?? What happened to all your satellites?? Maybe they actually don't take clear pics and are all sent to space as show-offs?? Why wait for small guys like Malaysia and Vietnam to feed you?? Just because it was a Malaysian plane doesn't mean China should leave the bulk of the responsibility to the small guy, right? What do you think the response would have been from the US government if more than 150 of those missing were American citizens?? Leaders and heroes are made during crises. And China just missed the opportunity...

The whole things of boycott Malaysian these and that reveal the EQ of one nation of that country. And of course not all of them are like that, only small percentage. But I truly don't understand the China actors and actress, as the public figure for the big nation, China, they also join the boycott rally

, some are so called very good EQ in the show. With this recent action, I doubt that.
