My latest acquisition:

Breitling Chronomat GMT - 47mm Limited Edition
With a custom alligator strap from JWW.
Bit of a pain to take a good picture of, with all the chrome flashing.

I'm very surprised that there is not more of a Breitling following here.

nice!!

I know why this is your fav, since you get to wear it on your right hand. It would have been my fav too, if not for the large pushers on my left hand.

Back to my fav GS...

yeah chris...
The not-so-new iconaut came in 3 different dial versions I think.
An all grey dial, a grey & black dial, and a two-tone silver/white dial. I prefer the all grey dial as it looks more clean.... :-)

Simply gorgeous! Is it 42mm ?

Hi, Andrew,

Yes, it's 42mm. Accurate timekeeper (almost no observable daily deviation when I am wearing it, but about +7 to +9 secs per week when left on the winder, timed against my seiko quartz). Winding is very smooth, and very comfortable to wear. It is not as legible as the Speedy (IMHO, has the best designed chrono dial), but still gives good legibility.

But for the price, you'll expect a bit more from JLC.....for example, the crown, strap and buckle are all unsigned.  The bezel clicks only 60 times per complete round (like the vintage 150M seiko divers). Seiko SKX007 already offers 120 clicks per complete round!!  And WR is only 100m, so you won't be going down Mariana Trench with this fella.

At the end, still a very good buy (RRP is in the RM 35k range, before the usual discount lah ) but felt JLC could do better.
