hi there, I was planning to buy some RAM, SSD and Battery from Amazon.

anyone here bought from Amazon before? do they ship to Malaysia?

and will our beloved custom will "kacau" the items since it is electronic parts.

Expect the tax on battery but SSD and RAM shud be tax free.

Amazon do ship to malaysia :)

last time i bought few clothes from US(~RM700) and kena RM100 tax... :Scolding:
I think if it worth over a certain amount, you'll get taxed.

I think below rm500(inclusive shipping) tak kena tax. Bought few times before.

As for shipping, some items stated provide free shipping, I think that applied to US customers only, as for Malaysia, how much the average shipping fees? RM 100? RM 200?

Shipping depend on weight/size. US shipping usually quite expensive ~USD60.

Buy something outside under RM500+shipping cost shoud be free tax...

I also confuse about the FEDEX policy how they count the tax by themselve...where I bought a pants+shipping around RM300 and I need to pay them tax for the amount. In my experienced purchasing clothes on ebay and shipped by USPS there was free tax...conclusion...choose USPS express beside FEDEX...
