Buying from overseas

There are some watches where you can't get it locally, so if one buys from overseas, when servicing time comes, I guess no choice have to send back to them? Anyone  actually sent their watches to local shops to service instead?

Make sure the watch has globally supported warranty. Then, you can get it to a local service centre.

Your watch is either super expensive or having uncommon China seagull movement/Russia Poljot movement.

Your watch is either super expensive or having uncommon China seagull movement/Russia Poljot movement.
No lah... I'm actually looking at Brellum. Don't think anyone is selling here. Only can buy from their website. Same like Christopher Ward and etc. Base is still Valjoux or Sellita, even if they are modified and Cosc certified, I guess any local reputable shop can service them?

Brellum watch is cosc certified. It's no doubt for its high quality.

As long as the modified parts for ETA or sellita movement can be removed and resembled by normal ETA/ sellita service tool.

Then it should not be a problem when service by a local experienced watchsmith.
