Cool photos Scott. Are these sandwich dials? I really love the clean look of the dials and the arabic numerals.

Yes, both are sandwich dial :) but i think the brightness is the same compare to the painted dial ;)

It seems that these days you'll also need some serious photo gear to make it as a WIS! Keep the photos coming.

Hi Scott,
Can you tell me how much is the smallest Pam...say 35-38mm ( fit a lady with small wrist) ? Perhaps an entry level range. Just love the look ;) Its classy and rugged at the same time. I am looking for one that fit my budget. Just for collection and fun wear during weekend
The longer I look at it..... i seem to fall in love with it....

Hello Alice,
Panerai doesn't produce 35 to 38mm model (at least not now for the production model).
They do have some nice one like PAM48 and PAM50 (leather strap and bracelet). I think PAM48 should be around 16K to 20K (i can be wrong, but PAM104 (44mm version of PAM48 look a like) retail at 20.5K, so i think PAM48 should be roughly there). My suggestion is to go try out any many as you can to see which one suite the better..you might be surprise the PAM111 (44mm) fit you well ;)
If you come up to KL one day, i can show you around and bring you to my regular AD to try things out ;)
Not sure in Penang which AD has stock, maybe CK can help :)
Cheers!

Pammy are just way overpriced. PAM104 used to be around $16k after discount 3 years ago....and the cheapest was less than $10k during the A or B series.
If only we know.....

If only we know.....
If only I know ;) I will not pay 10K for a watch 10 year ago but then again, if i know it's worth 120K - 150K today, die die i will go buy one :Laughing_on_floor:
For example, the 5128-201/A (LOGO) was selling less then MYR10K 10 years ago and today, it is selling USD39.8K. Don't think I will be able to get one now and even if i have chance, hard to justify (for me) to pay such amount for this vintage :HammerHead:

The old adage says buy the watch that you like and not buy it for investment. There will always be some wise purchases as well as foolish ones. That's what makes watch collecting so much fun.
