Title: Watches and Pens - Space Theme
Post by: thirdman on December 20, 2013, 10:34:19 AM
Hi bros,

Another carefree day, so took some photos of the Speedy and the Aurora pen and make them a space themed "photoshoot".

The Speedy is very nice with the new 9300 movement. It is not very big for me (I have a big wrist). It is a nice movement to just see. The case back is transparent. I have masked the watch number with photoshop. The watch originally came with the SS bracelet. I have purchased an original leather strap and changed it. It looked marvelous.

The Aurora pen is Italian but the nib is very smooth and wet. This is a 14k broad nib. I have filled it with J. Herbin Perle Noir which is my preferred black ink. The size of the pen is good for me. It is about the size of the MB 146. It is a well balanced pen with a nice window to show the ink level. This pen exceeded my expectations because I have read many stories of horrible Aurora nibs but this is not true in my case. It works great right out of the box.

Ok here are the pics for eye candy. Cheers!!

Lovely...

The curve end strap look thick on your first pic!

Glad the classic hands and dials design remain

Thnx for sharing
