Bronze Case

Hi all,

Like to share my other watch, the Anonimo Marlin..
Anonimo is the first watch maker to use bronze for its case... the rest are followers  8)

Not really the first. There were others before Anonimo, just did not make a big deal about it.  :)

Could very well be the first. Or maybe Blancpain with the fifty fathoms bronze milspec......

I would guess its Gerald Genta as well with the original Gefica.

Highly likely it is the Gefica. It has been around since 1988 but not available commercially until late 2000 decade? The (early) watches were given to Gerald Genta's friends duing their safari outings. I have no date on the Blancpain FF Bronze milspec.

Nice bronze piece. Congrats.

Not surprised at the bold statement. The SAs at the local AD may been making some bold (albeit misleading) claims regarding the Anonimo bronze pieces.

What movement ticks inside the Anonimo Marlin?

Yeah.. was misinformed but i should have done my own research.

Anyway, it uses a Sellita SW200 based automatic movement.
