Chronoswiss Regulateur Automatique CH1223
« on: August 24, 2010, 09:00:22 AM »
Not too long ago I acquired this classic regulateur model from Chronoswiss. As we don't see many Chronoswiss timepieces on MWF I thought I would share these pics with you guys. For those interested in knowing more about this watch here's a good review: http://www.omega-addict.com/reviews/chronoswiss/

(Pics were taken with the Canon S90)

In the background is the book that came with the watch describing the history of the relatively young watch company and its product range.

Sorry to disappoint the gold bugs amongst you, but the glittering rotor is only gold plated.  ;D

besview,
At 38mm it can seem rather small by modern standards, but as a dress watch I find the size acceptable.

duniajam,
TQ for the kind words.

Peter,
Glad you like it. I do agree that the asking prices for the new "Made in Germany" watches with "manufacture" movement are more than what we normally expect from Chronoswiss. Then again the new prices only make the older Swiss Made Chronoswiss watches seem like a bargain.

And I believe some nice pieces from older collection can still be found at reasonable prices from some of the local ADs. So better get yourself one before they disappear from the shelves.

Danny,
For a dress watch,I'd say 38 mm w/o crown still wears fine.I still wear my 38 mm ML moonphase fron time to time.
It has a smallish bezel so the dial stands out a bit
