I asked her to show me at first but let me take over but she sitting next to me whilst i'm doing it so she can guide me. This is so i can gain the experience. I really want to learn so as not to break the parts accidently or do anything wrong to damage the watch.

Today it took me 12 minutes to set up the watch. As suggested by Patek Philippe, first set the watch to 6am and set the date first, then day and month. Then move the time to 7am, and set the moon phase. After that only set the time, then finally wind the watch to full power.

Wipe away fingerprints, look at watch, insert back into box. 12 minutes gone. :)

wow.... would love to meet up to see your lovely PP....such unbridled passion...
totally understand you on the joy & pleasures of setting up the perpetual calendar as I have a much  humbler GO Navigator Perpetual Calendar..
the only PP that I may possibly afford in the future is the steel Nautilus 5712/1A-001 which is on my long term wish list...
Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Haha aiyo even if I make the holy trinity happen it will be the low level holy trinity consisting of basic complications. Not the super tourbillion minute repeater all powerful trinity.
