Nice one! I find the profile too high when I tried putting it on a normal Nato strap!

I fell in love with this the moment I saw it...and had to bring it home. Not an easy watch to find. I started a thread not too long ago titled “the end”...well...this really is it. Blue sunburst. Great size. And an absolute strap monster. It comes with a steel bracelet and a blue rubber bracelet. I sized it and tried it on with a few other straps. Will do another post about it.

@dualcarb bro. Yup, fully understand.

Me too. Walking passed a Seiko AD, saw the amazing porcelain dial Arita.

I know I have ended my Seiko watch journey but too bad my new porcelain dial journey started :Laughing_on_floor:

I surveyed its price online and from the ADs, placed the order, and now patiently awaiting for the courier parcel to show up at my door steps this coming Monday. :Jumping:

The waiting bit is the most difficult part...we pace back and forth and back and forth and waiting for our phone to ring...but it doesn’t...

Hi bro,
I also purchased the same watch but still waiting for stock. I'm buying from City Chain Penang. Where did you purchased yours? Is it through online or our local AD?

This is the Seagull 1963. A watch that was issued to the pilots of the red army airforces back in the day. With a case size of 38mm and thickness of 14mm, this is a very wearable watch for us Asians with smaller wrists. Manual winding mechanical movement which is made in Tianjin, very accurate and right up there with the other watches that I have in my stable.

An 18mm lug width may not be the easiest to find a nice strap for, but this watch goes with thick “vintage” leather, classic leather or NATO.

In any event...for a watch at this price, it is hard to beat.
