if you are going to sell or collect the 6 figures watch... what would you do to assure your safety?!?


Any security guard company offering for half day or 1 day escort service?

Hmmm I reckon others can chime in on security services n such, but I thought I'd go over the obvious operational stuff.

The importance of anonymity simply cannot be overstated. The less ppl know of ur plan, the less obvious u telegraph it, the less u risk attracting attention. Don't dress the way u usually do, drive ur daily car, use ur regular phone, meet at ur home, etc.. I'd go as far as saying u should have asked this question using a throwaway account instead of ur main one, but what's done is done.

If u r buying this from an establishment, ask them if they can deliver it to u? Pay a small fee for the delivery service, have the peace of mind of collecting the item from seller on safe grounds. Pay for the delivery, pay for the location, pay for security. Don't skimp if u feel anxious about not being secure, better spend and err on the side of caution.

If ur buying from private seller, u can still arrange for a similar meet some place relatively safe - a restaurant/coffee house in a 5 star hotel, a hotel room, business center etc. If u have a regular place, even easier. Or if u have the membership, can arrange to have them come as guests n meet u at a club like KLGCC or Royal Selangor or something.

Perhaps other fellow members can give further suggestions.

Collect is very easy what... slap it on your wrist and walk out the store.

Selling could be tricky if it's a face-face deal.. you don't know who you're meeting and what their plans are. Maybe that's why many prefer to sell to grey dealers.

As advised by others, keep a low profile on your buying/selling plans.

But the question to ask is if the worry about the process of buying the watch, does that make you worry about wearing it as well?

And if you're worried about the buying part, aren't you concerned that it might be a fake?

yes, very true. actually, because of some of the grey dealers shop locations are not that nice and safe hence i chose the most secure dealer who has a shop at airport.

but this dealer has limited brands and stock so exploring for other dealers and looking for ways collect the watch safely.

renting a business center room from hotel is really a good idea . i like this as it's certainly more secure . in future, if i want to sell my watch i can do it at the business center room too.

i have 2 groups of friends and acquaintances, 1 wearing fakes another group wearing the real 6 figures watch.
i am totally comfortable with these 2 groups. they're thinking my real watch is a fake like them....

but when i traveling to certain ASEAN countries, i will not wear 6 figures watch for sure. as for our homeland, of course i will not walk with a 6 figures watch along the dark alley or small road.


am I worrying being scammed and got the fake watch? i have no worries at all.
