I am new register for this forum but definitely a long observer of this forum.Since then i decided myself to get my 1st Swiss watch...
For certain reason, brand like Rolex,Omega,Tag will increase the price every years with about 5%.
So,on my birthday i decided to pick a 45.5 mm Omega Planet Ocean.
It took ages for me to choose between Omega Speedmaster and Seamaster Planet Ocean.
I love the history behind the moon watch, but with the same price i only can get the manual mechanical watch and no co-axial movement.
SO,finally i pick up the 45.5 mm Omega Planet Ocean with a quick reasonable price in a well-know in KL and 3yrs warranty from Omega.
At a glance, the Omega Planet Ocean has that classic retro look and styling of the 1960’s Dive Watches, very readable and sophisticated.
The 45.5 mm case is the perfect size for me.The rounded Sapphire Crystal sits above the Bezel. It has a Anti- Reflective Coating on both the inside and the outside which again adds to visibility from all angles.
Upon closer inspection of the Planet Ocean, you will definitely love with the details inside. The point of attraction for me was the polished silver Broad Arrow Hands, they are very large and the time can be read at a quick glance
The heart of the Planet Ocean is the Omega Caliber 2500 Co-Axial movement.Based on the ETA 2892-A2 movement,25 Jewels and a power reserve of 40 to 48 hours on a full wind the base movement alone has a stellar reputation for accuracy.
The bracelet is very thick, well designed. There is no sharp edges and the rounded links prevent any arm hair being pulled out. The End Links blend in seamlessly with the case of the watch making it visually flow. The clasp is very solid, with the Omega two push button release system and also Divers Extension.
Conclusion, this is the watch that you want to own for the long time. The price of the watch increasing every year,so what you wait for, just get one today...
