Big enthusiast of A. Lange & Sohne. Here's the Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase in yellow gold on my wrist. Photo was taken 2 weeks ago. Enjoy!

I used to work in Germany back in 2006 for a couple of years and to commemorate my time there, obviously I had to purchase a German watch. Not having sufficient funds for a Lange, I decided to purchase a Stowa Flieger ohne (without) Logo.

Stowa was celebrating their 80th anniversary back in 2007 and I took the opportunity to purchase a Flieger Original 80th Anniversary Edition which was limited to 80 pieces, each individually numbered.

Fast forward 10 years and the watch is still with me. I recently purchase an olive green NATO strap to replace the original brown leather strap and I must say that it has revitalized the watch's looks. I'm wearing it much more often now and it goes really well with jeans or casual wear.

This watch is definitely a keeper for me, as I love the legibility and sheer purity of the dial without any logo. Lume is also amazingly bright and since it's powered by a simple ETA 2824, servicing shouldn't be a problem for me in Malaysia. I also appreciate the fact that Stowa was one of the original suppliers of B-Uhrens to the German air force so it does have quite a lot of heritage going for the brand.

Thanks for reading!

Not exactly a wristshot but wanted to share this beauty I had the joy of trying on at a boutique.

Grail watch anyone?
