to be honest, saying all panerais are the same is pretty much like a racist comment isn't it?

like all chinese look the same. but do we look the same?
i'm sure in our multi cultured nation, we have heard this phrase before.

but to a panerai enthusiast, it's just like being a chinese, none look the same and every different bit is very much different.
it's basically like being able to choose exactly what features i like and what i like in a dial.

how often do you get that range?
but of cos, the less/more u want, causes prices to fluctuate  ;D

*** disclaimer : this is in no way a racist comment, i'm just trying to voice an opinion, feel free to delete if necessary ***

well....to alot ppl who never really go into details will comment all pams looks the same. but their terms of 'same' are included crown guard right n left (destro), sandwich dial o painted dial, small second o w/o small second. so this ppl here is looking at the big concept of pams which i think is pams DNA.

so different people different point of view. But for pams lover.....we continue love the watch.

reading is not the issue. Its the pictures.  :Laughing_on_floor: Sometimes, the pictures just make you want to go and buy a piece.

That why i put "same same but different"  :mooning: Thanks for highlight the difference hobbit

And that is just the tip of the ice berg. We have not even started on the polished crown guard vs brushed crown guard, long lume hand vs short lume hands, 2 line top, 2 line top and bottom, 4 line top and bottom, case material, case treatment, display back vs solid back, font use, fat markers or not, and the list goes on.......

Hobbit...those photos should never be released without the skull and bones Class IV poison label....

educating experience for me reading this thread, to read the journey of Pam collectors in search for the perfect one...paying attention to details (and paying for the details  ;D)

Its true what they say. Its the diversity of taste that makes this hobby interesting...
