Hush,

Thanks for the interesting links. Very educational. I like the part where the presenter joked about his 'Swatch'. Little did he realised that the Blum Collection of Swatch watches sold for a record USD 6.6 million a couple of days ago.

the initial start is tough. it is like walking uphill.
also need to justify a lot to fellows family members... finance controller...
also battle within self as too many gadget wanted to try ... with limited fund

I will try to stick to 5 watches now.. with 1 or 2 extras

Hahah now time for you to rethink about going to the haute horologie route. Our dear friend is going down that journey with PP and VC  :thumbsup:

I thk myself is more like a flipper, own a pc for 1-2yrs thn flip ..Holy trinity is long journey man... We are not like James with big pay check..

"investing" in watches is a little bit like coins and stamps. do you really know it's going to go up in value?

i think real estate and gold are better in that the total amount is finite. only problem is what's the best time to get in.

IMHO, there is no good time or best time to invest. No one can guarantee you. The key is holding power.

its really subjective, i guess its a supply and demand situation after all, if im holding a great limited edition watch from previous years and bump into some1 who really likes it, he / she may just give me a great price for that piece, so it does really depend on the situation
of the market.

IMHO, i guess it does pay to get something that is rare if we are thinking of getting to flip for some return.

Appreciate if there is any alternative investors in this forum to share their thoughts?
