first manufacture movement.... a jumping second mechanism

Hmmm... Chronoswiss rebrand itself from " Swiss made " to " Made in Germany "

I think it was "Swiss Made" but not 100% sure...

Chris, thanks for sharing...would really like to see one jumping second ;)

I read about Chronoswiss as Germany Made, next to GO, AL&S, Nomos.

If you check their early models, all dial comes with printed ' Swiss Made ' near 6 O 'clock' . I google for more info and this is what it comes out ' The factory is located in Munich/Germany, but since the watchcomponents are manufactured in Switzerland the company is entitled to use 'Swiss Made' on the dial. ' 

I used to like its ' Delphis ' model , but after closer look , the watch doesn't look as refined as other swiss brand even those entry level . Any one of you who ever hold one in your hand will probably agree with me.

Yeah! I have to agree with this...I too have the same feeling/experience..hopefully their own movement will be much better ;)

Pardon my ignorance, but what's a jumping second? Does the jumping second make the mechanical watch look like a quartz with the tick tick second hand movement?

its not new actually.... surf around n see.... some vintage watches and pocket watches also same has feature

this modern habring2 also has same feature

If I recall correctly, the Habring uses a vintage movement, the Doxa/Chezard 116 in the watch. It's the vintage movement which comes with the jumping second feature.

Not sure really the advantage..but from a mechanical watch point of view, it is complicated enough to control a second-hand move every 5 seconds...I'm sure the escapement wheel is "special" in this type of watches...

as a non technical  guy.... i do not think u hv an advantage on that....
like will have more friction....
