Ikepod creator trying to raise fund via kickstarter for his next watch company, what do you guys think?

Technical information of the Canopus Weekplanner:
Stainless steel case, diameter 1.7 inches (44 mm), height 0.39 inches (10 mm)
water-resistant to 100 m (10 atm), screw-in crown
automatic mechanical chronometer movement base A10 Soprod, 42 hours power reserve, 25 rubies, 28,800 vph
exclusively developed movement Dubois Dépraz module: sweep week indication centre, date, weekday and unique rotating moon hand covering and uncovering moon on subdials
4 correctors on the side of the case (moon correction at 2 o'clock / weekday correction at 4 o'clock / 31 days correction at 8 o'clock / 52 weeks correction at 10 o'clock)
patented rapid bracelet change mechanism
unique aspherical sapphire crystal with antireflective treatment on both sides
sapphire crystal on the back
movement and dial finish with côte de Copacabana decor
every watch comes with two straps: a metal strap and a black alligator strap with orange stitching. Both bands have patented fine regulation so you can adjust the strap/bracelet exactly to the size of your wrist (see video);
patented rapid change mechanisms for changing the bracelet of the watch in a few seconds
Every watch is numbered and comes in a unique handmade mahogany wooden box from craftsman Ghianda (also available separately as a jewel box or repository for medals)
watch strap in alligator leather hand-stitched by craftsman Camille Fournet
dial with Copacabana finish, indexes in white gold.

What happened to Ikepod? I remember reading it was closed down but not sure why...

He somehow lost the majority controlling share of Ikepod as mentioned in his interview with Timezone or Watchuseek.
