Watch Kimi's interview.
"We could've, we couldn't, that's it." LOL.
Typical Kimi.  ;D

My prediction for 2013 Germany GP

1) Kimi Raikkonen
2) Sebastian Vettel
3) Fernando Alonso

You got Kimi & Vettel correct but in different order. Could've got 43 points.

Haha. Better luck next time.

Btw, one achievement unlocked for Vettel for winning in his own nation, also winning in the month of July.

Since the cameramen injuries in Germany, FIA had made a few amendment. One of which caught my attention is the reduction of speed limit in all tracks from 100km/h to 80km/h (except for Australia, SIngapore and my favorite Monaco, which is already at 60km/h)

Do you think reducing the pit lane speed limit is a wise move?

They are gonna reduce the speed for 2014 anyways.
Just implement sooner.

Has nothing to do with how the wheel was put on Webbers car.
Thats more of a team technical and operational issue.

Berlin completes Formula E calendar
Pablo Elizalde | July 11 2013

Berlin has been revealed as the final city that will host a round of the Formula E championship when the series kicks off in 2014.

The German capital is the third European city to join the series alongside London and Rome, while U.S. rounds in Los Angeles and Miami are also expected.

The new fully electric racing series will run from September 2014 to June 2015, with the calendar including 10 events, all on street circuits. Berlin's circuit will be built within the Apron section of the former Tempelhof Airport.

"We are delighted to be in Berlin and very grateful to the Senator and to the Berlin authorities for welcoming our championship to their city," said series boss Alejandro Agag. "With more than 1,200 electric vehicles and over 220 public charging points already in circulation, Berlin is leading the way in Europe for innovation and sustainable mobility, which is why we selected it as a host city for Formula E."

The final Formula E calendar will feature London, Rome, Los Angeles, Miami, Beijing, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires, Putrajaya, Bangkok, and Berlin. It will be presented to the FIA's World Motor Sport Council for approval in September.

Well, in my opinion, I think since in and out of every pit will obviously take longer time, team strategy might opt for even fewer pit stops. But I think with current Pirelli life-span, that might not be an option. Also, drive-thru penalty will hurt more too.

I think you are right, if teams keep bolting tyre loose, no reduction of speed will help anyway.

Btw, Formula E, will I be like watching F1 with television's volume set on mute?

Mario Kart woohoo !

Sebastian Vettel donned a Super Mario costume to take part in Red Bull's Soapbox Derby in Germany at the weekend, completing the downhill course in a gravity-powered go-kart.

The three time world champion removed his fake moustache before the run, presumably to gain an aerodynamic advantage, and launched his soapbox racer down the 500m course, getting airborne over jumps. As one of the judges at the event he was not an official competitors but entered into the full spirit of the event nonetheless, to the delight of the locals lining the course in the town of Herten.

Meanwhile, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner was taking part in a sister event at Alexandra Palace in London. Horner drove a soapbox racer made of old parts of Red Bull F1 cars and dressed in full Red Bull overalls and helmet. However, there was an air of controversy surrounding his run as he had the final hay-bale chicane removed in order for the course to be wide enough for his factory-built racer.

Nevertheless, it was the Newcastle-based Spit-Phya team that won the London event in a soapbox resembling Donald Campbell's land-speed record breaking Bluebird.

Few days ago Kobayashi crashed a F60 at a demo at Moscow. Nothing serious, just wreck a car. Ferrari then give him another one and continue his show.  ;D

Yea, he is brave.

I was actually surprised by Ferrari decided to give him another car and go out again. Good guy Ferrari.

here's another longer video, this one show a bit more of the aftermath and how he examine the damage.
