Zanardi can work around the corner with prosthetic, just like Mick Doohan with his famous thumb brake, but an eye might be a bit too far fetch.
Eyes are way more important than limbs for a racing driver, they need to read the road, and the truth is, one cannot judge distance as well with only an eye. She will have a hard time telling distance, both chicane and other racers.
Thou I still hope the very best for Ms. Maria De Villota.
