Qualy today was a bore fest !!!
fist half of each session no cars wanna go out to conserve tires and let other people rubber up the track.

Surprised the China fans didnt make a scene. I know i would have.

My predictions:

1- Hamilton
2- Kimi
3- Roseberg

Congrates to Takashi78, you scored 18 points. No changes to the standing thou for the time being.

7thfort is a very close call, you got all three podium correct, just off the sequence. You nearly scored a jackpot of 58 points.  ;)

Can we talk bout the race also?
This thread needs more of that haha....

1st thing, Sauber should have kept Kobayashi and have Estaban be reserve for at least one more year.

At the last lap, I was at the edge of my seat as Vettel was just behind Hamilton car's exhaust pipe. Vettel was using the option (soft) tire and doing 1.36 per lap as compared to Hamilton (worn) medium compound, which was giving him 1.41 per lap.

I was hoping when Webber was caught up to Vettel that he will take him out.
Who knew Webber hit the wrong RedBull  :P

And bravo to Kimi for driving with a broken wing.

Could have challenged for the win if wasnt for the contact.

Oh and this...

After race Kimi do said that he actually required the wing to be replaced, but since the damage wasn't that substantial, and replacing it might take too long, Lotus decided to let him fly without wings. (sorry, can't help the pun) ;D

Anyway, it does made me wonder, since one can do a whole race (plus a podium) without that wing, I wonder is it really functioning? might as well remove it all together and save some weight.  ;D

He did not drive without a wing.
Just the front nose tip broken off.
Rest of the sides of the wing is still properly intact.

I would say the effect would be only few km/h slower top speed.
