My Nettuno 3 finally arrived yesterday. This was bought pre-owned from an overseas forum. The watch underwent a full service with the following parts changed - bezel, dial, 3 hands, gaskets and O-rings. Case and bracelet polished. Overall it now looks like a new watch.

Manufacture: Marcello C.
Model:          Nettuno 3
Case dia.:     40mm
Glass:          Sapphire crystal
Movement:   ETA 2824-2
Water resistance: 300M

Here are some pictures.

Hello Sattha61,

congrats from Germany to acquiring that Nettuno !!
You definitely bought a great watch there - not just another look-alike sub.
"MARCELLO"- brand has a fantastic reputation over here for producing
excellent watches that meet chronometer specifications.
Kainz and this watchmakers near Aachen (northern Germany)
exert themselves and succeed in producing watches of highest quality only.
In my watch collection (about 100 timepieces) there are four MARCELLOS
and there they rank among the top oneĀ“s.
Only being outranked by two OMEGAS.

Regards und best wishes from

Thank you BBouvier for confirming what I have suspected all along. I have read a few very good reviews on the watches made by Kainz at Marcello C. and wanted to get one. This one came along and I grabbed it immediately. I am glad I did. The watch is well made with a nice solid feel to it. The revision said it has been adjusted to +3 secs, well within chronometer standards. At a case diameter of 40mm it sits a little small on my wrist but my son already has an eye on it and very willing to relieve me of it. I will definitely shop for the larger 43.6mm Tridente when available.

Thank you very much Sattha61,

I have the TRIDENTE as well and that timepiece
might even outperform the NETTUNO!

Some time ago my younger brother popped in for a visit
to show off a little with his new Rolex-sub.

I went to my safe and got out my NETTUNO
to have those two watches being laid side by side to compare.
Then my brother grabbed mine, fumbled a bit and then went pale
around his nose:
"If I only had known!:Startled:

Regards,
