Nice post and great pictures. Kudos!

If only the black bay has got a date as well - nevertheless it is a great watch.

Cheers!

What's the price for the original leather strap for Black Bay? Thinking of replacing my steel bracelet.

think you'd have to be ready to part with approx. RM2K to 2.5K to get both the original clasp and leather strap. there was someone in the UK who got both for about GBP400 from his AD. suggest you try alternative aftermarket straps/clasps.

I bought Pelagos over BB a month ago bcos of the date and it 1 mm bigger. Don't get me wrong BB is reli nice but when u strap both of em on your wrist for some reasons I feel more connected to Pelagos. After some of my friends learnt abt my purchase they were indirectly telling me tht it didn't worth it. I dun give a shit. Until today I still adore it a lot and not having any regrets at all. To me, I dun feel that we buy a watch to let it determine who we are.

What were the reasons given that the Pelagos is not worth it?

I am curious to know too.
Technically, Pelagos is one of the most impressive pieces to come out from Tudor. (not talking bout movement)

I recently got the Pelagos and its one of the most striking looking watch in the light and even more so in the dark. In the dark, all my other watches are no match to the Pelagos. It even beats my latest Seiko Marinemaster Tuna SBDB008 which has fantastic lume but the bezel lume of the Pelagos is even more superior..

Although it comes with the ETA2824, ETA uses the highest grade ebauche. Timing has been within COSC to-date. Am letting it settle in before I send it in for finer calibration. Although I'm not usually keen on ETA driven watches, the Pelagos quality and look overcame my hesitation.

Pelagos dial lume brightness is second only to the Marinemaster Spring Drive Tuna dial lume that we both have  :Dancing_banana:...
But the bezel lume is what makes it stand out amongst the other watches..

Third would be my Seiko Monster

The JLC NSA lume may be 4th, a normal lume compared to all my other lumed watches e.g. GO Navigator Perpetual Calendar

The blue Chromabrite lume (same as in the latest Rolex Sub) is bright, sharp, gorgeous and very lasting.

There are some people out there are more concern about brand. Brand comes first then only look at design, movement & etc. They would ask, "oh why not buy omega, breitling, pre-owned roli & etc." Sien  :Blue:

Why do you let other people's views, opinion and comments bother you.
Isn't it your money, your choice, your happiness that is most important?

By the time they start giving out discounts, the retail price would have been raised by once or twice... which could mean that you will pay the same today as you would a year or two from now. ;D
