A new member to the collection
« on: May 21, 2012, 01:36:01 PM »
This just in and I cant even contain my excitement. It got the salesperson in trouble. He was not even supposed to tell me that he had it but it was a slip of tongue on his behalf. Saw the fury of a boss once a worker screwed up. Anyway, I asked to buy it and he could confirm that I was going to be one of the first to own the watch as it is not supposed to be launched yet by the boutique so I officially have a pre-launched piece at hand. I dont think I have to tell you what it is but i just let the pictures tell the whole story. Thanks to bro Gigi for his assistance. A review to come soon.

Tada;

and a wrist shot of it

all I can say is that pictures dont do the watch justice. The red on the bezel is the color of red rust and it goes really well with the watch. This concludes my watch purchase of the year. Thanks all for looking.

The manager to the SA," you wont be here for long." Hope he doesnt get the sack though. Anyway, the good thing was that there was no premium and I paid less than retail some more.

I feel bad for him to be honest and how the boss rage when he move in/out the room. It is immature for him to get sack just because of this  :thumbsdown: As long can make money should be good for everyone. I don like some shop put premium on basis "it is rare" bullshit that happend on the ad in kl for tudor herritage  :HammerHead:

No. No pelagos yet..Yea bro Gigi. That is why I ask him whether it was alright for him to sell it to me. Either way, if they dont want to sell, they can always choose not to sell.

Congrats G.MAC  :thumbsup:

On my wishlist as well. Launching sooner than expected it would seem. And looks like it wears big.

What is the RRP over there?

Did you manage to check out the leather strap version?

It is due to be out in September. I suspect this was the piece that was to be shown in an event which they would host to showcase the watch at the end of June. There was only this variant and it was the only piece. It retails at USD3800. I calculated and it is cheaper to buy the bracelet version and add-on the leather strap later as compared to if you bought the leather strap version and the add-on the bracelet later.

Its always cheaper to buy watch with bracelet unless your are certain you don wear the bracelet at all.

Hope they find a replacement watch  :HammerHead:

Congrats G.MAC on the Tudor.
Wear with Good Health.

It is nice rusty red colour and I believe this model was launching sooner than expected (around Sept or Oct this year).

Yea it is to be launched in september this year according to the staff. Hence it is to be showcased at the end of June. The bezel has a different effect under different lighting conditions just like the green on the Hulk.
