Yup, I was there with my wife. Thats was 2 years back then. Nothing much actually. Of course, the watches prices were competitive then as compared to the current. I even had that souvenir book and is now in one of my collections.

Certain model promoted their wares an an attractive offer. I remembered the IWC Mark 16 were than around rm8k plus after discount. Today the same piece takes around RM10k plus (if I am not mistaken).

Back then, the Pam, esp the entry model actually went off through the door - no stock, even during  the promotion period.

Some were just plain showcase just for awareness sake.. Why, the JLC have had even their master assembler to teach you a thing or two (for those who registered).

A few tourbillion on exhibition but was not my cup of tea. (why?... the price factor...lah)

Overall, nothing much exciting

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

I went for the last 2 years. What I found most fruitful is attending talks by collector like Bernard Chong.

After that, hehe, cock tail or champagne by some of the exhibitors ... ;D

alvin... as long as alcohol is provided... then is good for you right? :Laughing_on_floor:

joking.

i been there for the last 2 yrs as well.... last yr bit disappointed due to its make u walk up and down at star hill....

yr before is better arrange.... in an exhibition hall.... u can see everything easily....

its good experience if u not been this b4 actually....

corum is shown how the enamel dial is painted
alange is shown how the balance cock is engraved
and de grisorono is shown how gem and stone are set
GP shown how tourbillon is assembled
jlc even allow u to attend watch movement assembling classs for free

then you got talk by the collectors....
F P journe showing off his personal collection
every brand bring some rare piece...
where else u can see a jlc gyrotourbillon?

a journey through time its an exhibition to cultivate interest instead of selling actually....

only disappointed is pam dont even hv 10 watches in their booth!

best is you can collect all brand broshures free on shot...
