Of speleologists, polar, rehaut and parachrom blu
« on: February 04, 2012, 04:40:48 PM »
yes..the WIS among us will immediately know what this thread is about,..... looking at the title...

these are phrases that will play in your mind again and again, the moment you step into the Rolex Explorer 16750 world...

it finally arrived yesterday...

LArge box? :Startled:

Eh? Medium box inside the large box? remember those random christmas gifts that come in large boxes and when you open it, there are several more small boxes and finally a mug?  ;D

??? another layer of packaging?  now i get it.....excellent packaging effort by Seller...

the excitement is too much...need to sip some caffeine to calm down

gasp....gasp...gasp (you must understand..this is my first crown....even among my family :o)

how many of you remember THIS sort of moment.?   ;D ;D

wow...wow....wow...my poor photo skills don't do this justice...

Well, this is a familiar watch to many of you....Hanz, man burg have given excellent shots and review in this forum, so i won't elaborate....

I am posting this partially as a tribute to the many excellent friends here.....these are people i `pm-ed' again and again, with all my endless novice questions...

it all started with `Why Rolex', then the usual `Rolex vs IWC vs Panerai'...and then when I am set on a Rolex, it moved to `Why submarine, what is difference between 14060 and 14060M'.....blah blah blah
Then i was looking at GMT, and then the Explorer 2

and then more questions like `Where to buy, where is good deal...'...And finally....the never ending 3185 vs 3186...

In end...i almost gave up on a 3186.....but found a reasonable deal, and i think i can safely say i bought the seller...superb services....

So to people like ck77, hanz, hobbit, man burg, terrence, dc.....thank you!     every pm you sent taught me something and I am sure the Malaysian horology world is better because of your willingness to share....

and here are some photos sent by the seller...they do the watch better  justice... ;D ;D
