Hanoi, only the bay lor, stay over at the cruise, small scale of big cruise, but you will have the fun dive into the water from the top deck, dont forget to wear a diver watch with you  ;D, watch out the Jelly fish

Just my 37 cents

not to forget to visit Bobby Chinn, celebrity chef there. Like the ambient and fusion food.

Old town is very unique. Watch out for the motorbikes there. Follow the local when u crossing. Try the french food there. They are very nice. Check out lonely planet for some good suggestions.

Yeah, french food is a must have there. There is a fine french dining which is really superb, perfect ambient and super yummy food, best french i ever tried. If u r keen, i can check the name for you again, but a full course dinner cost around 150 usd though. Very expensive but worth every penny of it. Bobby Chinn isnt that expensive. Around 30-40 usd for dinner if i remember correctly. Bobby is good, but pretty much fusion.

Alternatively, try Green Tangerine which has a very nice courtyard and voted no. 1 by backpackers. The cost is less than 10usd for lunch break.

Dont miss the water puppet too. its very unique.
