Unfortunately the forum's system cannot read the letters and in my case, Russian characters, as well.

I have one too but in black dial/nylon strap..
I bought it in KL and altho I dun remember the exact cost it was way under RM400.
Actually I'm v. pleasantly surprised at the quality and dependability for the price.
It would have been perfect if it had hacking, winding and the bead blasting extended to the space between the lugs... otherwise a super value for money which can be used as a daily beater..
A guy in Indonesia who was wearing an IWC even came over to ask me what watch it was after seeing it from a distance...he couldn't believe that it cost so little. I complimented him on his IWC Big Pilot but he said that the BP was actually too big for his small wrists and was looking for this look in a smaller watch.... so I suggested a GO Navigator to him..

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Seiko military is actually the best buy, value for money, very tough, well built, reliable and versatile. at this pricing, it also come with a see through back case which is very impressive indeed.

I remember years ago, owner of Hour Glass even commented that it is not always necessary for us to break our bank to own a very good auto watch and seiko military is the watch that he mentioned specifically. My seiko military sleeps along my submariner, luminor marina, portguese, offshore and nautilus now.  :Laughing_on_floor:
I am broke but I am happy...

Unfortunately, bad incident happen to this Seiko 5 of mine. Slipped my hand when I was rushing for a meeting (trying to put it on in a haste), watch fell from about 4ft direct to hard floor. Watch is dead now..... :Blue:

For the K spec, the day displays as either I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII,
or MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, SUN.

And for the J spec, the day displays as either ??? ??? ? (monday), ??? ??? ?? (tuesday), ??? ??? ?? (wednesday), ??? ??? (thursday), ??? ??? (friday), ??? ?? (saturday), ??? ?? (sunday),
or MON, TUE, WED, THU, FRI, SAT, SUN.

i know this bcoz i came across both SKX007K and SKX007J and have personally seen the difference.

Cheers! ;)

Here is an example of the J-spec arabic day display. I bought this SRP234J1 recently.
*u can check it out in the watch gallery section.
