Where to refurbish watch
« on: October 13, 2011, 07:37:14 AM »
Dear Friends,

I have a couple of vintage GP and Longines for refurbish. Could someone please advise me where to get the job done with top notch quality?

Thanks a million.

Send them back to the respective service centres?

I once dropped my 1960s Gold Longines and sent it to a big watch retailer , with a technician in house. It was ent back to main agent and it cots me Rm800 16 years ago.

I believe mister_lau has many Omega watches. Would like to see more of the Omegas and a history of Omega if possible.

Top notch quality comes with a price and the best place to send it to is back to the brand itself.

I sent my 30+year old Rado Diastar for service a couple of years back as the crown broke loose and cud not adjust the time...

i went to my trusted watch shop in Melaka...and it only cost me RM150 (ori Rado crown included!) this shop is an AD for Rado, Omega, ML, Mont Blanc, Ball, ORIS, Tag, etc...

but non-warranty servicing la...but good service.  :thumbsup:

Hi All, i live around KL and i'm looking for a watch shop that may refurbish a vintage divers watch i might buy. Can Anyone provide any info on any shops around KL that fix up the watch in the picture;
1) case needs re-chroming? perhaps? overall s/steel but with worn marks seen till the brass underneath revealed.
2) bezel need repaint, with numerals etc.
3) general servicing.

thanks for any info....

hmmmm... i'm not able to attach the photo here after clicking on 'insert image' icon? Any help here too?? Then i can insert the image later.
