Good thread to start.
I come to KL quite often for biz so this thread should be helpful, thanks.
While on the subject, can any foodie-forumer recommend any good Japanese lunch / dinner buffet places? Double thanks.
Take care, Ciao!

Zipangu (Shangri la), Kampachi (Equatorial), and Iketeru (Hilton KL) are good. For ramen... Hokkaido Ramen Santouka (at 6th floor, Pavillion) is good... Some said this is almost as good as Ippudo in Singapore...

Its not buy 1 free one.
Its 50% off IF you have 2 people eating.
If its 3 people then discount is different.

I seldom go to KL, only when GTG or special events. But in PJ, here are a few

1) Damansara Utama, Brazilian style buffet, hit me type
2) PJ Hilton cafe
3) Sunway Pyramid Sunshine cafe, something like that
4) Giza Mall, Tao

Just my 27 cents

KL dim sum very lousy.... all pre made...
those crowded restaurant in tmn connaught, damansara jaya....
also not good

even the seremban small chinese restaurant near my mum house serve much better dim sum (far better)
need not to say those in guang zhou and hong kong.... make after you order... no need the sweet sauce!

Locally, can try the one in Ipoh. Better than the KL one.
But the TS mentioned in KL only.

Saw this thread and feel that i have to share.

I've had quite a few buffet in my life but one place that i feel obligated to share is actually in Noble House. First, with all due respect, i believe halal buffet has its own delicious taste, but non-halal food has the extra dimension for me. And noble house provides that extra punch, it has the best buffet I've tasted for years and its only RM45++, but the buffet is only opened on Sundays. Dim Sum, grilled stuff, claypot food, bak kut teh etc.

Oh, forgot to mention that there's a free bowl of shark fin's soup per person.

I actually like Lot 10 food court now. Not exactly buffet. But you can find lots of nice food under one roof. anyway, not that we can finish eating 3-4 plates. So that place is 'good buffet lunch' for me.  :Laughing_on_floor:
