Leica dun make any SLR anymore, last model was R9 using R lenses.

Is either Leica digital M like M8/9/9p/9M, using M lens or those compact Leica made by Panasonic such D-lux 5

yup S2 is a Medium format camera, is kind of SLR but way beyond normal SLR, cost at least 60k above for standard kit

do drop by Leica Store near to KLCC

Leica M1 reporting in, can ka? Still keeping this babe.
IMHO, Leica were damm good on M body series (previous owned M6) and M lenses but not R series body (previous owned R3, R4, R5, R6, R8) and lenses. I have bought both series for my work and sold it after a few years.
For fast and convience, I always prefer Nikon or Canon, for blow up with details I prefer hasselblad and for architecture and interior I prefer large format. But I'm still using Leica lenses or hasselblad carl zeiss lenses once in a while with adapter and fix it on my nikon. You can have the fast n convinence of Nikon body and leica or carl zeiss lens quality pic. Who said you can't have best of both world  :Laughing_on_floor:
In my opinion, it is not worth buying Leica compact since the quality is almost the same as Fuji or Panasonic. More like you are buying a "Red Dot" only. :Dancing_banana:

still love my m9... was using it yesterday to shoot in a pole dancing competition... hahah.. i actually love it more then the AF sometimes in low light...

now i'm thinking to get a Fujifilm EX-1... need to test if the AF is any good :D

I do agreed on the compact... why pay the extra for the same compact camera  :HammerHead:
