Grandfather Clocks
« on: September 06, 2011, 08:29:23 PM »
Spotted this longcase over Raya Week. The  chime has a sweet timbre, and rings loudly every quarter-hour. I don't know how well it keeps time.

the face says, "Junghans, 12 Jewels, Westminster Super de Luxe."

So, in the nutshell, the finer things in life does not have to be the most expensive or exotic item or place one could have.

I'll try blowing up the image tonight

The chimes bring me back to my early childhood... Would scare the bejesus out of us cousins.
