"Arsenal gives Wenger vote of confidence
LONDON, Sept 21 — Arsenal are not in crisis and fully support Arsene Wenger’s efforts to turn around the club after a poor start to the season, chief executive Ivan Gazidis said yesterday."
"Arsenal had to come from behind to beat League Two (fourth division) Shrewsbury Town 3-1 at The Emirates."
"Arsenal’s terrible start to the season looked like continuing when they fell behind to James Collins’s 16th-minute header for Shrewsbury."
“It was a bit nervy because we played against a good side,” Wenger said on the club’s website (arsenal.com). “I said before the game the lower divisions have improved in the last five years and you could see that.” - as reported by Reuters.
Hmmmm.....aren't these the usual signs that the manager is on his way out?
Have a nice week, Guys & Gals.
Take care, Ciao!
