My vintage omega collection
« on: July 07, 2011, 07:57:13 PM »
These are my dear Omega collection that I have invested over the years. Most of the dials have been refurbished which explains all of them looks so new for watches that have been around since the 1960s/70s.

A bit of background.
These are my vintage Omega timepieces that I still have in my collection. I started this hobby with a vintage Omega Constellation and Dynamic in 2002 and that piece have been long gone to another owner. One of the things that I like about the old watches is the simplicity and it has that certain character. Now I look at the new watches design, I can see where they got their inspiration. The vintage watches are timeless in my honest opinion, so enjoy the pics guys.

If I was in town last Saturday, I would have worn the yellow speedmaster to match with their attire.. Hehe.

I just love the arrow markers on your
Seamaster, looks fantastic 8)

The Speedmaster Mark 4.5  I reckon
has the best dial among the speedies
and that includes the pro ;)

Great collection and thanks for sharing

Scapel, I can tell you know your Omegas. The SM 4.5 is my fav among the lot. You can see there are some scratches on the Tachy (when I first bought it) and I have a brand new replacement Tachy for it- which was so difficult to find. But not wanting to replace it yet- afraid to get it scracthed.

Hi Coffas,

I got it refurbished in UK when i was staying there 8-9 years ago. Not sure if the guy is still there as he was quite old then.
Do you have old watch to refurbish?

Damn those are really nice.... I saw some vintage watches at plaza Damas near cold storage... Are they more expensive than u could find on eBay or other seller? Or are the priced just fine? I saw some real old school omega, mido, tag and even a couple of. Rolexes too
