Eh... Most of it are replicas. For reference and sample purposes only.

George, sells under the name Cheergiant. Very affordable and well made straps. Very easy to google up his name in p.com and other forums

You are correct. Most of them are props to see how the straps wear. However, only 3 of the Panerai in the pictures are props. The rest are all original.

Will check Cheergiant out. Thanks for the heads up.

nice photo mate. super pam300.

i tried to meet up with ted during my last visit to taipei, but he instructed to me to go to one of his dealers instead.
so didn't manage to meet him, but his dealer gave me a nice price on a tedsu ammo.

by the way, have u tried paolo18 and kevin ammo?
kevin ammo is just sublime, whilst paolo is cheap for the quality. go try them!

dsiewmy,

Have not tried kevin ammo or paolo18. So far have only tried and molested brands like Banda, Wotancraft, Morellato, Simona, DaLuca, MP, Panatime, TheWatchBoys and original Panerai. One of my favourite is the Morellato Cordura Lorica strap. It was put through its paces sometime back.

It went for a swim in the swimming pool followed by a soak in a hot spa. It spent about 40 minutes underwater in the swimming pool to a depth of 120 cm. The water temperature was about 28 degrees centigrade. It then went into the spa where the water was 38 degrees Centigrade for about 20 minutes. It was taken out and was allowed to dry for about 10 minutes in 18 degree centigrade wind. This was followed by a 5 minute dip into running water at 28 degrees Centigrade.

It was then washed (in the bath) and allowed to dry in room where the temperature was 20 degrees Centigrade. It was exposed to rain and cold winds for about 1 hour and subsequently washed and was finally allowed to rest. Well the watch that it was attached to also survived.

Hanz079,

Been itching to try out street photography. Cannot afford the Leica M9, the next best option, X-100. Good price, kit with case, screen protector, sd card and filter and lens hood adapter. Now trying to figure out how to use.  ???

Hobbit, support you :) I'm sure Taiwan's streets have a lot more stuff to shot ;) Enjoy and do share!! btw, X100 is a good street-camera... just have to get used to the focus (it's rather slow (hunting) in low light)... you can also turn the camera to silent by pressing (around 2 sec) on of the button below the main wheel control.. can't remember exactly which one.. in case you wanna be in a quite-mode ;)

Enjoy!!

takashi78,

The SM300 is powered by Omega Series 5xx movement which are slow beat movement. the watch you have is fitted with either the Omega caliber 560 or 565.
