look same same to me
The watches looks the same because they were based on similar specs as required by the US military. The Benrus DTU 2-A/P is based on the MIL-W-3818B spec from the 1960s.
The U.S.A.F. GG-W-113 Pilots Watch is based on the MIL-W-46374 spec which in turn is based on the MIL-W-3818 spec.
All the watches were issued to the US Military. The Benrus was issued in March 1969 while the Hamilton was issued in June 1982. I also have a Stocker & Yale 184A (SandY 184A) that was issued to the 7th ID GI at Fort Ord before it was disbanded. It is unused, still in the box. This watch meets the requirements of the MIL-W-46374 spec.
