My next watch will be a PAM (on wait list for some time now), but the next one I'm eyeing is the AP Roo Diver... but many needs some time to save up the bullets and get approval!!!

Which model (the PAM)?

The shanghai boutique edition... 420, should get it by next month!

Congrats, that is a nice watch. Enjoy the Assolutamente strap. It is just awesome. Have on my PAM00367.

A little fed up of waiting and started eyeing on other watches. But, what the heck, already waited for so long! Will post some pics when I received it!

A grail, well, in my case anyway, need not necessarily be mightily expensive. My next target, if I ever stumble upon one, is "just" a Seiko. ;)

Manburg,

Nice, 6105-811? 0 or 9? Anyway what is the difference?

The 6105 (earlier or later models) and the 4S15 (SCFF001) are on my list of to get Seikos.

Hobbit,

A 6105 came with a few variations - 8000, 8009 and 8110, 8119.

The first two's case were symmetrical cushion, whilst the last two were asymmetrical, which was the later version.

I would prefer either the 8110 or 8119, not only because of the larger cushion case, but also because of the B movement (as opposed to the earlier one, i.e. A).

Having said that, I'd have to say that in view of the rarity of this species now, I'm happy to have any one of the variations.

Manburg,

I know the difference between the 8000, 8009 and 8110, 8119. However what is the difference between the 8000 and 8009 and between the 8110 and 8119? Is it the movement?

Apart from the case, is the movement employed - 6105A and 6105B.

Sometimes ar, this grail talk is just "in the moment" oni...
This year frm January when I got my bonus and searching for a new watch... I actually stopped for 3 years prior...
Busy with kids and everything...
Then I surf around LYN ask for opinions... suggestions were aplenty, got my grail... a Zenith... found this forum, poison is deep in my veins... then impulse buy here and there... around 7 watches... flipped 5 and now looking to buy more...
Neverending journey... need... to... resist....... the...... temptation..... gyaaaahhh!!! :HammerHead:

I understand what you mean. When i first joined this forum, i too was poisoned so badly that i needed to get a watch every other week until i sober up a bit. I bought >10 watches in 2 months :HammerHead: Luckily they are the lower end ones..most of them have moved on to others as i attempt to recover back some of my expenditures.

As a proud owner of a Valjoux 7750-based watch, the above remark is deeply hurtful. :D
