Watches and Wonders 2023
« on: March 03, 2023, 12:22:24 PM »
Watchfam, WW 2023 is coming soon.

I am wondering will Rolex unveil new iteration of Submariner as this year marks 70th anniversary of the model?

Not to mention it is also 60th anniversary of Daytona.

What do you guys expect from WW 2023. Cheers.

Submariner line was just updated in 2020 so doubt any changes for it...

The Daytona though has been around for awhile. I'm also curious what will happen to the Milgauss.

Maybe more variations of the GMT-Master II? That half-coloured bezel combo always gives them a boost in demand hahaha

The Milgauss has always been predicted to be discontinued...I hope they update the movement at least with better power reserve!

Was also thinking about another "half-colored bezel" like the Coke.. that would be interesting seeing how the Pepsi is more purple than blue.

Good thing I got the Submariner after 2020 with the new case and movement. A new movement for the Milgauss is one reason I delay adding one. I just hope they don't do the same silly thing they did to the Air-King and add crown guards.

Oh my - that could be a possibility - adding a crown guard to the Milgauss. But hope they keep the funky green glass even if they do change - I love that touch!

But on the Datejust end - i think probably more motif dials...

Also, I wonder if they will re-introduce 39mm to their lineup...
