i've owned a few 48mm steinhart nav b before... but it is too big on my small wrist... i also tried the 44mm steinhart... but since i prefer the onion crown so i keep the archimede and sold it to 1 of our watch friend from kl....

i should wear 2 on my left hand, hide them inside my jacket and then wear a ori 55mm to wear on my right hand jacket....
if i lucky to find a original beobachtung at affordable price!

so i'll say 42mm is just nice to wear... 44mm is today trend for bigger wrist... 47-48mm is good to show off with xxl wrist.... 55mm original is to keep... 55mm modern is for table clock!

LOL!! How about this one? I'm keen to get the Debaufre 48mm Nav B Uhr Limited Edition from one of the SG's seller...check this out..

http://store.debaufre.com/Nav-B-Limited-Edition-p/f-dw.03.08le.htm

any comment?

I really love the IWC BP any my concern is it's 46.5mm (without crown) and of course, 10 times the price more..so, maybe this one (the above) will help LOL!

this model already long sold out... u can only find used 1...
it is a automatic 2824... not handwind...
but 48mm is not every1 can handle...
next time u can see magpies 14 azimuth jagbombardier... it is using same case... also same spec as debaufre nav b...
but thinner caseback... the big onion crown quite easy to scratch on your hand... so i prefer debaufre thicker caseback!

anyway, this kind of watches will only ease your love of big pilot for a little while...
if u r a big fan of iwc n glasshutte original....
now go can get 35%....

Azimuth Jagbomber

Scott & Danny already saw my Jagbomber which is at 47mm. They did not complain when seeing the size. So, what is he prob with Big Pilot at 46mm?  ;D

yenfoolun, where can I get Laco & Archimede like yours? Seriously keen to have them if the price is good. Try avoid spending on GO & IWC until the economy turns better.  ???

Yeah! Saw Alvin's 47mm Jagbomber and that's why it's trigger me to get one really :)

But i still worry the 48mm is too big on my wrist :D The watch is selling SGD1000, worth it? I haven't see the condition yet (yes, it's used) and I will get some picture later tonight.. a friend of my from SG selling it...

maybe we should start another topic for this :D

no problem with 47mm... just that i got a very small wrist....  :(
but the jagbombardier is same spec as debaufre and steinhart... but more expensive
then steinhart and debaufre improved the case back... a thicker caseback... so the big onion crown now wont scratch your hand

both watches is limited and sold out
the archimede i bought is limited... so quite pricey.... but with vintage hand wind movement
laco is available online.... but to get a no logo u need to order in group...
the new archimede pilot H.... also no logo... on dial.... with eta 2824

yenfoolun,

do you find the strap on the Laco a bit too long and also those pilot strap a bit difficult (due to the thickness) to get into the loop?
thanks - nice watches both!

the laco strap is very short actually... bit too short.....
beginning is bit troublesome to get into the loops... but now its ok....
