Let's play a Rolex SS Sport Model Game

Let's play a serious game.

We choose any one of the Rolex official AD in Malaysia.

Then we pass our business card or contact to the AD personnel to request them to contact us once the SS Sport Model is available for pick-up.

Let's see who is the fastest receives the AD reply.

We go by the shortest lead time.

I will go first:

So - have they contacted you?

I cant even remember how long since i've put my name down in so many AD's...even those that I have purchase history with...

Only once last year - the salesperson (which left) from SWG text me to inform me there is Explorer 1 and half gold daytona...

No other calls.

Seems you have to have at least RM200k purchase history before you go on the "Real" list.

I entered 2 more times there. They didn't even bother me. Maybe I went there after work at about 6pm and it's their dinner break time.

Sales is probably so good they don't need to bother keeping tabs who wants what.

How about asking for a call when the two-tone or solid gold model shows up? Will that be faster?

Is that typically the quicker route to acquisition, going for the precious metal variants? I had always thought it was challenging all around.

Was wondering.. so thought if someone would try asking. There is only one AD where I live and they have nothing to sell.

Put my name in for the 126711CHNR Rootbeer on 23rd December 2018 when it first released in an AD in KL. Still waiting until now.
